The Potions! game included in Math Wizard and the Magical Workshop has difficulty settings that can be adjusted from the main menu. To access these settings, tap the settings (gear) icon in the top left corner of the screen and adjust the difficulty settings as needed.
When the game starts for the first time, the child will be asked to hand the device to a grown-up. The adult will be able to select a difficulty based on the child's math ability. Please note that you can adjust the difficulty level at any time throughout the game.
There are 3 different options available for difficulty: Apprentice, Magician, and Wizard. You can scroll through them using the purple arrows. Each difficulty level is associated with certain math skills.
For reference, the game will also automatically adjust the difficulty level as the player progresses in the game.
